Testimonials from clients

"I contacted Stephanie a few months before my second baby was due. From our first phone call she was warm, friendly and incredibly understanding. I’d hard a bit of a hard time with my son - no family to help nearby and I really felt the shock of becoming a parent. So I wanted to be prepared and properly supported this time around, physically and mentally. I spoke to several doulas and postnatal professionals - everyone was lovely but I really clicked with Steph. We agreed on postnatal support with one of her team members living closer to me - Alex. And then the pandemic hit. At a time of such stress and uncertainty it was even more valuable for me to know there would be help in the first few weeks, especially with friends having to stay at bay. And so when my little girl was born in early May, Alex came a few times a week. She helped troubleshoot breastfeeding issues (I almost gave up due to crevasses), offering options without any judgement. She’s a calm and composed presence when things are very messy and great company. I really looked forward to her visits, not least because I knew I’d be able to shower for once! I am so glad we hired Holistic Babies - both Alex and Steph were super friendly and responsive and made the first 6 weeks of our second baby’s life much easier than our first. If you are pregnant or know anyone who is - this is a great investment and also makes a lovely gift instead of yet another stuffed animal and tiny bodysuit. New parents really need practical support in the early days, and Steph and her team will offer them that, and so much more. Thank you!!" Helene- Crouch End- London

"Stephanie has been my husband’s and my professional support, baby guru, emotional support and cheerleader for the last 2 months. She helped me from pre-birth by teaching me the importance of colostrum harvesting. In the first few days before my milk came in, those colostrum that was collected became liquid gold! She shared with us so much valuable knowledge and amazing tricks that ended up saving us from cracked and bleeding nipples that could’ve potentially stopped us from continuing to breastfeed. She was there for us every time we hit a wall and felt helpless by answering all our questions immediately via WhatsApp. We honestly don’t know how we would’ve survived these challenging first few weeks without her. I recommend all expecting parents to have a support from a professional like Stephanie so that they can avoid unnecessary roadblocks and truly enjoy their precious time being new parents." "Stephanie Beucher helped us with our newborn daughter in December 2017. I have a very active 2.5yr old toddler so getting some sleep to function each day was critical as well as recovering from my Caesarian. I had some reservations about getting some help and care in the evenings as it was a foreign concept to me. In hindsight it was the best decision we made to help us function as a family in this busy chapter of our life. Steph is a ‘guru’ with breastfeeding which really helped as I was struggling with winding my daughter as well as getting the correct latch. My let down was so severe for my little girl to cope with bit Steph helped by showing me varying breastfeeding positions to cope with the fast flow of milk. Steph is also extremely professional and caring, I would not hesitate to recommend her." Mary, Wimbledon.

"Steph’s combination of professionalism, experience, enthusiasm, and great warmth of personality inspire great trust and confidence. Her energy and perseverance were crucial to establishing successful (and exclusive) breast feeding. She provides a written report after each visit and often follows up--on her own time—questions and issues that have arisen and not been immediately resolved. Her generosity with her knowledge and her time make one feel genuinely supported. “  Clare, Little Venice.

"Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and caring. Stephanie was recommended to us through our friend and we can't thank her enough for all the support we have received from day one. She happily answered all our questions, responded quickly and confidently guided us through our first few months. I can't put a price tag on the valuable support we received. I am very pleased that we managed to breastfeed and did not give in to bottle feeding with all the challenges we have gone through. I would highly recommend her to anyone who struggles with newborn feeding issues and is looking for personalised support at your convenience at your own home." Neil, Ealing.

"Steph was with us for the first month after our son Archie was born and on an ad hock basis there after and I could not recommend her enough. Her approach was caring and personal and she is a fountain of knowledge on all things baby all back up by her years of experience and of course her own two children. She will give you lots of advice but is completely respectful how you want to do things and will guide you in which ever way suits you best. We looked forward to her arrival every evening and and were very sad to finally see her go." Somerset, Putney.

"I have worked with Stephanie from Sept 2009-12, when I was working as a Paediatric Registrar. Working with Stephanie in the hospital environment, I found her of exceptional calibre both in her knowledge and clinical capability, but also her ability to listen, support and care for new mothers and their babies. She is always reliable and upholds strong professional values. Having formed a close bond with her at work, we became very good friends. During my first pregnancy, she did multiple workshops for my non medical husband which were informative with all the latest medical/midwifery published evidence. Again, during first few weeks of breastfeeding, she provided me with so much support, reassurance and encouragement. I breastfed my son for 14months and I know I would never have achieved this without her. I understand completely the anxiety about leaving your newborn with a stranger, however, I can completely reassure you that they could not be in safer hands." Sharon, Wimbledon.

"Steph helped us with both our daughters with breastfeeding and night support. She is an invaluable asset to any new parent. So knowledgeable in her field and was able to answer the many questions we had with documented backup. She is so passionate about her work and it shows in her dealings with the babies and even the parents. I would highly recommend Steph for support needed with newborns and babies. We could not have gotten through it without you, Steph!" Patrick, Wimbledon.

"Stephanie helped us greatly to take care of our 2 month old baby. She is highly experienced and very committed. Thank you for all your help and emotional support, Steph!" Sara, Wimbledon.

"I got in touch with Steph after she had been recommended to me by a friend. My 7 week old baby at the time had symptoms of colic and reflux and I couldn't get much help from my GP so I contacted Steph who was absolutely amazing. She came to see us at home and gave us lots of advice and help with breastfeeding. She was so helpful and made me feel reassured and comfortable, especially as a first time mum. I highly recommended Steph if you are having any lactation issues." Nelly, Canary Wharf.
