Hello, my name is Alex!

I am currently practicing as a Midwife in a South West London hospital and working alongside this wonderful team as a Newborn Care Specialist.

I have been fortunate to work with families in a maternity setting for over 8 years and mum to Thea, who is now 8 months old. 

Supporting families in this early transition to parenthood (and growing families!) is my greatest passion.

Having worked in busy London hospitals, I have gained great experience in caring for women and babies in this early period.

However, I love working in home environments in order to truly tailor the care I provide to your needs.

I strive to provide individualised care using evidence based practice to support you and your newborn through their first weeks.

This includes support with breastfeeding, establishing healthy sleep habits and other newborn care!
