Osteopathy is my life passion. The human body never ceases to fascinate me and I am lucky to be in a profession that continuously evolves with time.
Since graduating from the European School of Osteopathy in 2009, I developed a wide range of treatment methods such as: trigger point and myofascial release, classical and visceral osteopathy and cranio-sacral therapy.
I look at the patient as a whole, to find what is at the origin of the aches and pains and to assess how your body has compensated, to be able to provide a specific and personalised treatment. My aim is for you to be able to understand the reasons behind your complaint so you can progress and improve more efficiently. I focus on your long-term well being as well as your short-term recovery.Working with the patient is key to achieve whatever goal they have whether it is pain relief, posture at the office or starting an exercise regime.
I have always taken an interest in the treatment of newborns and mothers to be and have treated mum and baby for the last 12 years. I also offer mummy MOT postnatal check up, assessing your posture, function, tummy gap and pelvic floor and help you recover from birth.
Osteopathy can be so helpful for pregnancy related aches and pains (no its not just pregnancy pain and no you shouldn’t jut deal with it!) and for birth preparation. We give advice, exercises and stretches that help you adapt to your changing body. Once your baby is born, we can do a mum and baby general check up, help relieve stresses from birth (natural, instrumental or c-section) and also treat babies if any tensions affect breast feeding, digestion (colic), ENT, development etc..
