Meet the Feeding Team & What They Offer

Steph— Perinatal Mental Health & Lactation Consultant
Steph supports healing around feeding, especially where birth trauma, mental health issues, or previous feeding struggles are involved.

Her approach includes:

  • Supporting recovery after tongue tie procedures or birth trauma, including instrumental births

  • Using Reiki, baby massage, and hypnosis to help with challenges around low or high milk supply and trauma

  • Working with the emotional side of feeding—helping you to heal, feel safe, and reconnect with your baby

  • Recognising and supporting the overlap between postpartum mental health and feeding difficulties in one-to-one consultation in the comfort of your home, we will take a complete history of your health, pregnancy, birth, and any challenges met so far, support you with attachment and positioning, and ensure adequate milk transfer. Steph also offers visits in hospitals and online. Her practice is responsive and she believes continuity of care is essential when supporting infant feeding.

  • Tongue-tie referrals (NHS and Private).

How Our Specialists’ Credentials Differ

  • IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant): extensive clinical training, expertise in complex feeding challenges, assessment skills, research, and evidence-based practice are central.

  • Lactation Specialists / Counsellors: excellent for many common feeding issues, emotional support, basic assessment and comfort. Some are very skilled and highly experienced.

Our team includes IBCLCs, lactation specialists, breastfeeding counsellors, and clinicians, allowing us to offer both everyday support and more specialised help as needed.

If you’re ready to access feeding support:

  • We can arrange a consultation to understand what support fits you best, given your history, baby’s needs, and your feeding goals

  • Whether you prefer in‑home, virtual, or group support, we’ll help match you with the person whose expertise aligns most with your needs

  • We work closely together so that if one team member identifies an issue (like persistent supply concerns, tongue tie, or trauma) that needs extra care, you are supported seamlessly
